Guided Tours
Come along for an exciting guided tour of Siesta Key's beautiful Midnight Pass! Our tours last about 2 to 2.5 hours and are led by one of our friendly Murph's Surf team members. We’ll kick things off at our marina, where you'll receive all the gear you need, including paddles and life vests. To make your adventure even better, we suggest packing some dry bags, sunscreen, and plenty of water.
Midnight Pass is a truly remarkable place, complemented by the Jim Neville Preserve—a breathtaking 104-acre marine sanctuary brimming with diverse wildlife, including dolphins, manatees, and countless bird species.
Originally closed by humans in 1983, Midnight Pass has recently been rejuvenated by the hurricanes of 2024, opening a pathway for an abundance of fish and wildlife while revealing crystal-clear waters! We invite you to embark on a guided adventure with us or explore this stunning destination on your own, and discover the beauty that awaits!
Don’t see a day available for a guide on our reservations system? No problem at all! Just reach out to us, and we’ll do our best to arrange a special time and date for you and your group. We just need to consider weather and tide changes since they can affect our plans. Your safety and enjoyment are super important to us! So don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions or requests—we’re here to help!

Meet Your Guide's
Meet Mike! He’s a friendly face in our community, having retired after 15+ years as a firefighter and EMT, with special training in swift water rescue. For the past 9 years, he’s been sharing his love for the water as a kayak and paddleboard instructor at Murph's Surf.
When he’s not teaching or helping others at Murph's, you can often catch Mike soaking up the sun near Midnight Pass or paddling around the beautiful waters of Siesta Key and Sarasota. He loves spending time there with his girlfriend and their adorable pup, Kona. Come say hi if you see them out on the water!
